Lewis Hamilton
Discussion
If he didn't conduct his private life on social media then nobody would know, then all theyd have to moan about is how he comes across in his interviews or how many times he says he's blessed or that he's just a poor boy from Stevenage who's dad had 3 jobs just to get Lewis in a kart, all this might be true but what the feck has it got to do with Lewis the racing driver, Lewis a british 3 time world champion maybe even 4 time, setting records as he goes yet some mock him because of his chains or his choice of friends, I don't get it

His friends?
His conduct on social media?
How can you tell his personality?
It's just weird how people form an opinion on face value.
I'm not trying to form an opinion, Lewis is paid to drive a car as fast as he can and he does that, he does it bloody well and he's British, that's all that should matter His conduct on social media?

That is awful...the assumption and low key racism from the presenter is shocking.Sackable offence from that particular network/channel IMO.

Lewis is actually fine when things are going great for him. His interviews and hole persona improves.
It is the times when things are not going for him which I fine hard to watch. Yes no driver wants to have a bad race of season but it is in these moments when Lewis becomes hard to like.
Can you imagine if Lewis had been in the McLaren Honda the last two years.
Well at least he doesn't drive his car into a competitor in a huff ala VettelIt is the times when things are not going for him which I fine hard to watch. Yes no driver wants to have a bad race of season but it is in these moments when Lewis becomes hard to like.

Can you imagine the response on this thread if he had driven into Vettel in a fit of pique, then moaned about the penalty and then, during interview, twisted everything? It is the times when things are not going for him which I fine hard to watch. Given the two interviews, I thought LH handled himself considerably better. This was despite things not going great for him. I thought both his hole personality and his whole personality were such that he was likeable. He had just had a race win taken from him, yet he seemed affable. He didn't blame anyone for the error of his neck restraint, nor moaned because he was forced to come into the pits to have it rectified.
I thought he behaved just like some guy.
The bloke provided over two hours of entertainment today, and made us gasp with his speed yesterday. Yet, and yet, that's still not good enough for some on here because of his social media.
Regarding being in the McL: his decision making there was spot on. He'd proved his loyalty to the team after threats from Mosley. The other two drivers sabotaged the team by admitting their misbehaviour for the promise of becoming untouchable. LH, on the other hand, just ignored the bully. He took a risk to show that he stood with the team.
I'm beginning to really like the bloke, but only for his driving. He's one of the all time greats. In my opinion the best in the last 49 years. And yet, on this thread we have his clothes being criticised.
Bewildering.
If his only foray in to our lives was when he was driving a car then that's all he'd get called up on.
He sticks images out in the public domain where he looks a bit of a berk, then he'll get called up on that to.
He stops posting daft photos of himself, he'll most likely stop attracting critiscism for it.

I'm on FB and Twitter. I don't see his postings. I read a lot of motor racing books, magazines and websites and only see PR images. He sticks images out in the public domain where he looks a bit of a berk, then he'll get called up on that to.

Why is it hard for some people to understand somethings arent on or is 'public property' mean casual or overtly open racism fine?
Are some people on PH real or children
