this thread is very quiet all of a sudden,it is the icing on the LH victory cake
Not really. The LH fans were quite rightly complaining of a lack of this type of interaction in London. It's what they wanted, it's what they've come to expect and now demand. Today, because he's happy, he's granted them an audience and they are pleased he's performing for them. "Dance monkey, dance."I could not care one way or the other, but to think that Hamilton's lack of appearance in London went unnoticed or uncommented on by those attending the event is a mistake. It wasn't just the media, in fact the media were reporting what many of the attendees were saying at the time. The fans at London were disappointed about his no-show and criticised him for it, quite vociferously in places.
The Hamilton doubters have reverted to hiding in their basement and throwing darts at a Hamilton dartboard.
Losers.
I was at Farm and wow; the energy was just electric; Hamilton is a true British sporting hero. A masterclass in driving; showed up the whole field. Bottas was great also and Max... just an awesome drive and battle against Vettel.

I do wonder where ELUSIVEJIM, deadslow and a few other disappear to on days like this....can never be found on pistonheads though. Probably sulking in a room together
Lewis was in a one horse race today. Did a great job. Can't disagree with his performance.Bottas also was great. He might just upset Hamilton and Vettel yet.
Would love to see Bottas as Champion

No complaints from me this weekend Lewis was on top form and gave the fans exactly what they wanted.
Too right - he was flawless, went out to get involved with the F1 fans who bought tickets for the actual race (not the moaners who went to the PR stunt in London and probably didn't know what F1 was until Wednesday).OK, so he was late to the press chat, but I can't help thinking what he did was better for F1 overall than being on time for that!
I can understand Kimi looking a bit p*ssed off, but Valterri could at least have smiled - after all given who his team-mate is (and with his performance) he could probably have gone and joined in!

I think I said it before, 90% of those who pitched up for the free event in Trafalgar Square were not going to Silverstone. And I predicted he'd be cheered whenever he showed his face too. It's been the same every year since 2007. Ironically this is the first year I've missed attending the race since 2005. I could not care one way or the other, but to think that Hamilton's lack of appearance in London went unnoticed or uncommented on by those attending the event is a mistake. I was sat in Woodcote B today and LH was applauded every lap.
Club was the same. Even in quali.I know it was the British GP. But I was quite taken back by the number of people wearing Mercedes/Hamilton caps and clothing compared to every other manufacturer/driver.
It was the Lewis Hamilton show all weekend.

I still can't stand him but c'mon, he nailed it today.
The Merc. just works perfectly in free air doesn't it ?What's your point?
It was the Hamilton show alright... and whilst Vettel et al moaned and groaned on the radio as per; we witnessed a masterclass... half a second to the whole field in quali.
Cmon deadslow, elusivejim and the rest of the troll brigade... admit the genius that is Hamitlon behind a wheel.
We'll all chomp on popcorn whilst we wait
And to those saying his partying affects his driving... hang your head in shame!
