No quite chilled I'd just like VB to get some credit too, all credit to LH for being a man of his word but credit to VB too for letting him past to have a go at Kimi.
Your right, he did play fair as much as Hamilton did. Nice to see.and its in the bank now too so could be useful if needed towards the end of the season.

why would he need credit?do you want credit ever time you let someone out of a junction, or hold the door open for someone?
when you do the right thing, you do it just because, not because you want a rainbow parade for doing it.
there was no risk taken by VB as he has an honourable team mate instead of SV who would have told him to Foxtrot Oscar

Lewis could've shafted Botas VB but he didn't. That's the point.

The right thing for VB to do would have been to let LH stew behind him burning up his tyres safe in the knowledge that he wouldn't have been passed & that he'd taken more points off of his teammate & played himself nicely into the Championship fight.do you want credit ever time you let someone out of a junction, or hold the door open for someone?

So yes there was a risk taken by VB & that was the risk of being screwed by the team/teammate & that's why he should get as much credit & plaudits as LH is.

Sheesh! Hamilton just follows team orders and suddenly he's a saint! Many other teams have done the same thing over the years and I don't recall them getting the same adulation!
Close title contenders though? I can't remember any swapping a place back quite like that. It would have been pretty easy for Lewis to say "Valteri is too far back" and kept the place.SystemParanoia said:

An interesting question was posed on the Channel 4 highlights show: what would have happened if Nico Rosberg had been in the other Mercedes yesterday instead of Bottas?
Rosberg would never have 'let' him past in the first place. Hamilton would have had to take the placethegreenhell said:
Rosberg let him past at Monaco last year when asked to do so.
Exactly. If it had been Rosberg there is no way Lewis would let him past.
Their relationship was totally different.
Lewis clearly feels safe with Bottas. If Bottas was to suddenly start winning the Championship I am sure things would be very different.
The issue again with F1 is cars not being able to get close due to "dirty air"
This really needs to be looked at and quickly.
Lewis and Kimi should have been able to challenge their teammates but yet again the aero packages are killing it.

100%. The spectacle is gone with this current aero; and DRS can only do so much, and can feel contrived. Shame. This really needs to be looked at and quickly.

The issue again is with the Hungaroring. It's always produced ste, uncompetitive racing. This really needs to be looked at and quickly.
