I have actually eaten plant-based food for the last two days and it has been amazing. So far I don't feel as if I have been missing out.
Two whole days? Is that even possible?

I think if the world dramatically reduced the amount of cows happily farting away it would have a tad more of an impact than a handful of hybrid F1 cars...

The F1 car isn't the issue; it's his Zonda etc! hehe

But that's he point he makes - which is true; the the meat industry contributes more pollution than every car, plane and train combined. And yet the government comes after us drivers, under the guise of being mindful of the environment.

Do they use leather any where in the manufacture of his race boots? If so I assume he has changed those.

Does his plane or his cars have leather seats will these now be changed? At the very least all future purchases will have to leather free?

What about the safety gear for all the motorbikes he rides?

Yes, for him to be a vegan all future purchases he makes (knowingly) should be animal exploitation free.

If there's the odd thing that can't be helped though, it doesn't undermine him making the correct moral choice to stop contributing to the murder and exploitation of sentient beings wherever possible, though.

Sure, not all opinions are equally valid though, I think he's right.

The majority of people used to think it was ok to own slaves.

I've never had a vegetarian meal that I didn't enjoy. I've also never had a vegetarian meal that couldn't be improved by bacon.

Lol... or chicken...
I would never chose a vegetarian meal over a 'proper meal' but... A couple of ex's were veggies and they could knock up a great vegetarian meal.

It's good that Lewis is concerned about the environment. Wonder if that means that he'll now stop jetting around in a private jet. Thought not, just the burgers he's giving up then smile

I did find him saying "They say it is more than what we produce with our flights and our cars" quite amusing. Yeh Lewis, I'm not sure they're talking about your flights and cars...
