Mark Priestly, a senior mechanic at the time, wouldn't agree with you. He gives the most definite impression in his recent book that the McL mechanics were delighted when Kimi beat both their drivers to the WDC after the way they both dragged McL down.
This MarC Priestley, yeah?...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2gg_WujGoQ
& not surprised that he was delighted Kimi won ...he was/ is good mates with him as he'd spent the best part of 4 years working/ partying with him
haven't read the book to comment ...so will reserve judgment till then

yes, but the point is that Priestly, a senior McL mechanic in 2007 says Hamilton was dirty-tricks weasley little rat who paraded himself in front of the press as if butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. In other words a liar and a phoney, which turned the mechanics against him.Sky paid these guys too

If he did say that (which he didn't) then that's some U-turn isn't it!!! He now states that Lewis is the best of this generation. Back to the dark dingy basement with you
still true, though, chum. A Phoney. Anyway, a little sugar for you

lap it up, ladies OK... you have a man crush on him, that's what you want to talk about isn't it... Well I'm cool with that, live and let I say.
How long have you felt this way about him? Any friends you can discuss it with, someone you are comfortable with.. you know you can trust?

So if you believe him when he called Hamilton a phoney (can't see he has ever said that BTW) - then why don't believe him when he calls Hamilton the best of this generation!?You can't have it both ways

His subjective opinion of Lewis as a race driver is his own business. The facts of what went on at Macca in 2007 are just that, objective truths. Get over it.
yeah, you need *sources* for objectivity ...note the plural, otherwise it's still just subjective, not that i think Lewis is an angel (you don't get to the very top by being a walk over)btw, how are you spinning Marc's subjective book view of Fred's attempts at blackmailing McL? ...i say subjective, but i'm pretty sure both Ron & Max have admitted this happened already, so that's probably more like objective truth
& does the book come in normal size print? ...clearly you got the big print version, so just double checking

But it's his subjective views on what went on that you have referenced. I know you're slow, but do try and keep up! If you want to post his views on Hamilton when they suit your agenda; you cannot dodge his views on Hamilton being ' the best of this generation' can you? I mean; you can try; but you'll stupid doing so
Chum, you'd need to be an utter Hamoron to fail to understand that being very quick and a snide phoney little rat are not mutually exclusive deadslow said:
har har why are you people always so unpleasant?
ahh bless, that's just gentle ribbing ...i could have said audio bookI'd say more unpleasant is going to the effort of starting a thread with the deliberate aim of being a character assassination ...& then gleefully being the 1st poster, but hey

Chum, I am sure these adjectives do not apply to you personally, but your analysis of this episode comes over as lazy and ignorant, like the Daily Mail.deadslow said:
