Maybe it's the sort of thing that just doesn't lend itself very well to being written down in print?I don't particularly like Hamilton or Rosberg but it seems like that particular line was something that just wasn't phrased right, it seems at odds with the rest of what Hamilton said. I mean, I think Hamilton is the sort of person that isn't always very good at putting his thoughts into words, I am willing to believe it isn't a calculated jab at Rosberg.
Maybe that's naive though.

You stated
"As I said, with Rosberg gone we should hear no-more passive aggressive st from Lewis if that is true."
Hence I said that in your eyes rosberg can do no wrong, because clearly you've either forgotten rosberg played mid games or are just plain thick/ blind to the fact
Not the sharpest tool in the box, are you? My point interpreted literally is that if Hamilton is correct then Rosberg is indeed the nemesis, so with him gone Hamilton should have no further cause to complain."As I said, with Rosberg gone we should hear no-more passive aggressive st from Lewis if that is true."

So, if he were to start underperforming again.... Just saying, like.

Also, from the perspective of being a family man, I can see why he did this. He seems very close to his family and I think that is very nice. I, personally, would love to give up work to be with my daughter and fiancée all of the time. So I can see why he has done it from that perspective.
+1Absolutely understand where you're coming from.

I'm plenty sharp thanks.....So, if he were to start moaning again.... Just saying, like.
......again you make nico sound like he's innocent of the things you bash Lewis for...that's my point....again you're completely blinkered

Now to find a crew in to change nappies in sub 3 seconds. One a side on Velcro, one on remove, two on wipes and anoher on replace, then the Velcro guys do up again. Piece of piss.
Hamilton has a pit crew already for that BubblesNW said:

I quit Ginetta racing yesterday to go endurance racing in 2017.
Didn't make any headlines and after 7 hours of solid Googling today, I can't find a bunch of grown men arguing about it online like a load of fairies either.
I was tempted by the Ginetta 'buy a car and race for a year package' , how did it go? Pm me rather than a thread hijack if you like.Didn't make any headlines and after 7 hours of solid Googling today, I can't find a bunch of grown men arguing about it online like a load of fairies either.
Nice garage by the way and tempted by a Euro hoon like the one you mentioned in the Porsche forum as my GT4 needs it's legs stretching next year.
I'm moving onto Endurance racing now that doing the Ginetta thing has got me started and given me the confidence.
My car will be for sale on Monday at a price that would let someone do GRDC for around £8000-10000 less than the Ginetta price with a new car. Mine's been fully fettled throughout the season and at the end by Quattro Motorsport (team owned by Richard Evans that won the 2016 GRDC+ and is doing GT5 next year). Never crashed. 1650 miles on it.
If you PM me I'll happily add you to my mailing group of friends for the Euro trips I organise if you want. They're just friends and I organise them as a mate, not as a business. I'll be doing the Mille Miglia (following rather than competing), NC500, a couples Italy trip and an Alps and general Euro lads trip as well as at least one more that I haven't come up with yet.
There are some racing and trip videos on my You Tube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYoSsUdU0UY5J5E0j...
Cheers.

An interesting post.
Our dream teams are not, I think, those valued by Wolff. He'll be looking for something a bit different. I've got the feeling he'll go for a number two. I doubt he will go as far down as, say Irvine, but he'll want a journeyman driver who takes orders but will get seconds (in more ways than one) with some degree of regularity. Merc will feel a bit nervous with the changes to the regs coming in next season.

Ok i have to say it, What a complete wker Hamilton is ,just can't stand the rapper.
and youre a bell end....full interview, open your eyes before your mouthBut Hamilton, who spoke in Vienna after Rosberg's announcement, said he had seen it coming.
"The sport will miss him and I'm sure it was a surprise for many people," he said. "I'm probably one of the only people it was not a surprise to, but that's because I have known him for a long, long time. But this is motor racing."
Hamilton and Rosberg started karting together in their early teens and have followed similar career trajectories before being matched as teammates in F1 at Mercedes in 2013.
Asked if he would miss the rivalry, Hamilton added: "Well, this is the first time he has won in 18 years, hence why it's not a surprise that he decided to stop. But also he's got a family to focus on and probably wants to have more children and Formula One takes up so much of your time.
"In terms of missing the rivalry, of course [I will]. We started out when we were 13 and we would always talk about being champions and when I joined this team Nico was there -- again which was something we talked about when we were kids. It's definitely going to be very strange and for sure I will be sad not to have him in the team next year."
Hamilton had talked about his desire to beat Rosberg in a straight fight next year, but the announcement means he will now be paired with a new teammate.
"Of course it is a shame that he won't allow me to fight it to take it back, but that was his choice and I respect his decision -- go out on top while you can. I have a different viewpoint. I won the championship the last two years and I gave an opportunity each year to have another shot for someone.
"That is genuinely how I am and I consistently believe in my ability and what I can do each year. Even if I was to win again most likely I'd like to get another opportunity. I like being challenged by different competitors, but again we have been racing for 18 years so it's not the worst scenario."
I stand by my original post - he can be such a bell-end at times.
Bloody fantastic racing driving once in a car, but a fkin bell-end once out of it.

Cringeworthy and not even statistically accurate. He won the FBMW championship in 2002.
He won the GP2 championship in 2005.
14 race wins in F1 up to 2015 and another 9 this year.

Pretty obvious from the context of his quote he was talking about championships they've competed in together.
So, when Hamilton said first time Rosberg had 'won', what he meant was first time he'd beaten me. Again, Hamilton prejecting upon himself the status of the only person to be beaten.Jeez, I so want Max to win next year. Just wondering at what point in the season Lewis will drop the ball and go all passive-aggressive on Max as the cause of his problems, and the fanbois install Max as the nemesis.

Someone earlier even inserted in brackets 'while racing against me' which wasn't even said.... amazing.
I could be wrong off course but I think this is the normal ridiculous reaction to Lewis. Along the same lines as wanting him sacked for Sunday while his team mate has been allowed to deliberately crash and try to take both cars out.
I suspect Lewis can be a bit of a knob. I suspect all of these very wealthy and competitive young men have plenty of moments of being a knob.
Are these Hamilton quotes accurate? If so WTF is up with this guy. He is one of the best drivers of all time and everyone, even those that dislike him, acknowledge that fact and that he was unlucky this year. Why the hell can't he just show a bit of class and be gracious about it and utter a few nice words about Nico without the passive aggressive digs. He is such a marmite character precisely because of this kind of behaviour he has shown repeatedly over the years... even his hardcore fans will struggle to defend this kind of thing.
I also don't understand some of the hate towards Rosberg for this decision as it is really quite an understandable one. He is a quality driver but not one of the absolute best... he clearly doesn't want to just hang around in F1 for another 7 or 8 years collecting pay cheques and not achieving a great deal (i.e. become the next Button).

That's it. I'm no great Hamilton fan, but I think Roaberg knows that he wasn't one of the best drivers on the grid, and he has been gifted the title through a rather startling flourish of good luck. Unlikely to find himself in such favourable circumstances again, he decided to leave.
Just an objective, non-partisan assessment of the revelation.
Y'think ? Well call me a bluff old traditionalist, but 9 GP wins hardly strikes me as "a rather startling flourish"...Just an objective, non-partisan assessment of the revelation.
So hardly objective
