Very moving and eloquent tribute on that basis alone worthy of a small donation in her memory to support the good work she went on to do after suffering such a terrible event.

As I tweeted in response to someone who retweeted Joe's post I hadnt linked Joe to Jill. It is an excellent post by Joe, and great to hear how Gary Hartstein helped him and the family understand what was happeneing

Incredible woman, incredible words.
This is why Murdoch and Kelvin Mackenzie are such contemptible humans. I hope people read his blog....

He mentioned her a year or so ago when he considered shutting down the blog after receiving abuse from some sick trolls.

She should have been honoured for the work she did and what she achieved.

I ran ID parades for my force for two years and averaged over 2.7 rape/serious sexual offence parades a week, and that's excluding offences against children. I had trouble coping with the effect such crimes had on the victim. In fact didn't cope. It was people such as Jill whose much more positive approach helped victims with their trauma. She showed that there was life beyond the crime. That said it her life until it ended.

You would not believe what some men subject their victims to both during the crime and the legal processes.
