I don't mind having something a bit different on the grid. Makes it easier picking out the different cars... unless on TV they appear more red-Ferrari-like to get picked up more by TV feeds.

Don't understand the colour link to the sponsor though. I expected their branding/website to feature a lot of pink, but it's all blue. Unless they've decided it will get noticed more being a bit different.

Bit junior playground imo, associating body parts just because it's pink.

As far as I can see, all their headline motorsport links bring with it a pink livery...

Mostly very English responses, but remember the audience is global and have different opinions on colours. Parisiens consider pink to be very manly for instance...

You tell them they look gay..

Also Scotlands (football) away strip which was based on an old one apparently. I wo der how far back the feminine association with pink colour goes? Is it ancient, or a modern marketing creation like diamond wedding rings.

I'm pretty sure in Victorian times it was considered a boys colour and blue, altohugh possibly a baby blue, was considered a girls colour.

I'd be interested to know when the word pink came about, it would have been considered a shade of red for a long time, much like orange was, I imagine.

Possibly the same place as turquoise and mauve.

Got to love PH and our penchant to analyse every random thing, lots of knowledge or otherwise to be gained here smile
