Hulk is confirming the pace of the Renault here.... Or should I say Hulk is confirming the pace of Hulk. If he keeps this up, it rather confirms the results of the pace analysis from FP2.

Hamilton doesn't seem settled. I reckon both Bottas and Vettel are a threat to him.

Ric all but 2/10ths down on Verstappen. Poor show.

No quoting me, please.

I know I was a bit off.

Watching in Italy while on holiday. I don't speak any Italian so the commentary is somewhat amusing.

It is only his first real qualifying this year, he damaged his car in Australia and it was a un-setup pig after it was rebuilt for qualifying (he went quicker on his 2nd lap in FP1) and in China he had to back off for Giovinazzi's crash.

Wehrlein has spanked Ericsson and ahead of Alonso.

To qualify into Q2 is very impressive.

Yes a yellow messed up a few other runners but still impressive.

Still not fussed with him for some reason but well done to him.
Looking past the injury weirdness from this year he showed flashes of impressive pace last year in the Manor - there's no denying that he has got some speed.

Nice lap by Bottas.

Lewis beat that but well done Bottas.

Vettel looks like not getting near frown

Ferrari you know will be better in the race. They seem to hold the tyres better.

Think Grosjean is maturing very well as a F1 driver.

Ferrari one lap pace is not as good.

Tyres seem to take longer to come in which will help then during the race.

Clean side start for Vettel so will be a good race.

Well hopefully smile

Good lap by Bottas, Lewis and Vettel slower on their second run than their first.

Kimi continuing an unhappy run.

I thought Alonso was actually going to break out in giggles during that interview - the situation is so ridiculous you couldn't fault him if he did.

Good for Danny, only a tenth and a bit up, but it was enough to put the Ferrari in between him and Max. If he keeps doing that Ferrari will make a call later this year I think...

Nightmare for Sainz and Force Indias, still it let Palmer through to be horribly slow in Q3.

Wehrlein making Ericsson looking less than average.

Grosjean got on with the job after a whinge, nice work by Hass to have that car ready after hitting the wall in FP3.

Stroll starting to get on terms with the car, the onboard we saw looked okay compared to his rather enthusiastic driving in the earlier races.
