People talking about Alonso going to Renault next year or leaving F1 completely. What about Williams? Massa is only there for this year as a late fill in for Bottas isn't he? So they will need an experienced name driver next year if they keep Stroll or not.
Alonso's on £30M/year. I can't see Williams offering much more than a tenth of that.

I don't think Williams would want to pay a driver the sort of figures that Alonso would cost.

I think Renault next year would be a good call.

Chandhok is reporting that Max's car has a coolant leak. Touch and go whether it'll be fixed before the pit lane closes.

I'm surprised these guys still get water leaks, surely everything plastic/rubber/consumable is brand new and the guys havve been assembling them enough times to have the knack of it. It was a leak that stopped Vandoorne starting last race, too.

The story of Red Bull going to Paddy Lowe at Williams to borrow some "Radweld" is quite funny...

That deployment graphic was pretty cool.

Merc should be very fast down to the first braking zone. There will be carnage down there like last year, just depends on who gets taken out.

Well
Prediction time.

Vettel stays in front and wins.

Botas is told to move over and Kimi fades away.

Vettell 1st
Hamilton 2nd
Botas 3rd

One of the front 4 cars won't be coming out of turn 2 in one piece. (The first right left if T1 is counted as the fast right)

We saved each others arses, would be a more accurate description. Not that this has any impact on a national anthem being memorable.

Hope we see a great race.

By getting theirs kicked and soaking up men and resources ?

When in Russia, had a tour round Smolensk and the guide kept mentioning the war of 1940 to 1945 conviniently forgetting Russia was on their side for the first year.

Edit bit unfair to say they were on the same side as the pact was a non aggression one

That's Mercs best chance IMO, or they'll be left behind.
