Only lap 17, but pretty much every gap is slowly increasing down the field, how is anyone fighting for anything, let alone podium?

Why are they struggling with cooling here...it isn't that hot in Sochi is it?

"Why is my car overheating?" Sucks when you're not in clean air doesn't it? hehe

Is it the coolant or the brakes? Is it possible to 0-stop this race?

He is in cool air though! I think that's where the frustration is.

They still have too use two tyre compounds. So at least one stop required.

Have to say, barring a safety car inducing accident, that's the race done.

If he's overheating already he won't be able to take advantage of Ferrari's woes. Good to see some tyre wear at this track though, looks like stops the only drama we'll see.

The first lap down to the first corner, turn 2, was exciting.

First Russian GP was good - cracking battle between Kimi and Bottas. Because its a low tyre deg track it was cited as an example of better tyres giving better racing.

Massa pits and emerges in front of stroll- so he has averaged more than a second a lap faster for the entire duration so far.

The Mercs are 4/10ths faster than the Ferraries in the first sector, and this on Vettel's FTD.

If Hamilton pits now, would he not be in clear air well behind verstappen? Would he make an undercut?
