Paddock Club hospitality passes actually mean paddock access is one I have heard.

I suspect all-round greater access for all. Fewer passes.

All cars to have back seat passengers. Mega rich fans pay for the seat.

The back seat drivers also have buttons for turbo boost, smoke screen and oil slick.

Just been leaked: ***Embrago***
Title: Europe’s greatest open wheeler auto racing series opens up to the World
TLDR: Europe’s greatest open wheeler series is finally aiming for America, and aims to score big with American fans and American drivers such as Michael Andretti , Scott Speed and US legend Euro driver Sebastian Bourdais!

Changes include:
Auto racing GP2 to be renamed college series
Teams to be rebranded according to their sock colours and stadium venue. Mercedes AMG Petronas will now be called Brackely silversocks, Ferrari will now be Maranello redsox allstars.

Drivers will be awarded points but also statistically compared and fans can now compare their overtaking “offence” stats and defence “defense” stats.

Points for fastest lap. Also points for most laps led, most overtakes, best pit stop, nicest truck. Four mandatory safety zones (yellow flags) per race, with points awarded at the end of each segment, giving fans the chance of a comfort break and a fresh soda before the next quarter. The last four races of the year will be a play-off format, with drivers racing to win! Every point matters so race to the playoffs!

In the event of a tie, another race will be scheduled at the end of the series at the spiritual home of Euro F1 racing (venue tbc)

Girls holding grid numbers before the start of the formation lap

Official mascot designed with Disney.

In a spirit of cooperation, our own homegrown sports of auto racing, baseball, football and basketball will work with the Maranello redsox allstars team to understand how you can sell loads of tacky clothing to real race fans all over the world

seriously, very good point. Last year we had to find a dodgy feed for the Monaco GP as we didnt have sky. After the race finished I went onto youtube and watched the full Indy500-live- from their free youtube channel.

I got an invitation to the F1 Paddock Club for the British GP. I was taken to the McLaren pits immediately after qualifying. I had to squeeze past Senna being interviewed. A mechanic, Steve, showed us around the 'spare' (this was 93) car.

Paddock? Who wants just the paddock?

Was also mentioned that all Silver and Blue cars will all have minimum 10 second pit stops, per pit stop and must use all 3 tyre compounds in the race.

And any engine penalties shall be taken by another team that isn't Ferrari and drawn out of a hat

Remember seeing a race "think it was Japan" when the drivers of the race cars had to use a normal petrol station at the side of the circuit when requiring fuel.

Been trying to find footage without any luck.

Obviously this could not work in F1 but it was refreshing to see racing drivers having to fill their own cars biggrin

Image below is basically what it was like but this was not during a race.

One of the thing I heard was that they'll be making the car numbers easier to see, which would be a welcome change.

I'd say F1's attitude has changed a lot in the last year. Loads of highlight clips/pictures etc being posted on all the major social media outlets. Still someway to go, but it's been an improvement.

If they started with a firing squad for the C list slebs who ponce around the grid, proclaiming their love of Effone but 'no I haven't been to a race before David ' - before they return to the pap free haven of the Paddock Club it would be a good start .

Who knows , they might actually let proles like me look at the cars in the pits again , as I did for many years .....

Helmet mounted "head cams" would be a big improvement over the current above head camera.
