Not really sure its the right section but given it relates to F1...

I'm looking for a campsite thats close to Silverstone, I don't really want to walk miles so if its within 10 mins walking distance that would be perfect, it really needs to have proper toilets and a shower block. We are looking at hiring a campervan so that will be left onsite for cooking bacon sandwiches and keeping the rain off our heads.

Any suggestions ?

We stayed with these guys last year: www.campingf1.com

About 5-10 mins from the circuit (depending which end of the campsite you were) and comes out at the back of Copse. Good facilities all weekend (proper porcelain bogs, decent showers), and well organised. We've stayed at most of their European stops now, and never had a major issue.

Whittlebury Park is right next to the circuit and very good but might be booked up by now...

I've stayed at Whittlebury for last ~10 years and am booked up again for this year. We stay at the Pavillion plot, when the red arrows buzz the tents on Sunday it's time to head to the track! wink
