I wish Kubica well but I ain't paying to watch advertising strewn vehicles driving round a advert heavy track. Step too far for me.
??
The cars and tracks have had adverts since the 70's?? Possibly before then

Agree with all the above.

Was it "Lotos" who were his main sponsor going back? Unsure if they have upped the sponsorship package for Robert and will become title sponsor, or has he bought someone new to the team? Williams Lotos Racing? Below is Roberts Rally car with Lotos livery to get an idea of what could be used at Williams if that was the case...

Sounds too close to Lotus for Williams to use it in their team name!

Assume you haven’t watched F1 for a few decades then

But were free to watch provided you had a TV licence, which I think was his point.

Lotos are merging with Orlen, keeping the Orlen name. It's possible they will use their premium Verva brand to advertise on the Williams.

Where exactly are you now that would determine the need for an extraneous step? 1965?

George and Bob. Two good old-fashioned sounding names in the Williams next year.

Great story for Bob so far, but I don't think next year will go all that well and George will come out on top. Place your bets...

I guess the focus is now on Kubica and not how bad the car is, should the car be bad next year.

I bet if George wasn't British you'd be saying different.

I view them both equally as EU citizens, and will be giving them the same support right up until the start of 1st Practice at the Bahrain GP.

It certainly makes for one of the more interesting driver lineups; I really haven't got a clue which will come out on top. Russell is obviously quick but many quick drivers have failed to make the step up into F1 competitively; Kubica was a very fast F1 driver but has been out of the sport for the a long time and who knows how much the physical handicap will impact his performance?

Even so, having an experienced driver to help develop the car and mentor the rookie is a good approach.

Russel quicker but I reckon Kubica will score more points.
