Any recommendations for Brazil trip?

A mate has a bunch of air miles he's willing to share so it's looking like we'll have cheap travel, but need to sort out hotel / transfers / gp tickets etc

I've done a bunch of euro GP's previously and always booked up my own travel, accom, tickets etc but for Brazil i'm thinking it might be easier to use one of the companies that do packages - are there any that let you do your own flights?

Any other recommendations? where to stay etc?
