Would that have allowed them to circumvent the fuel flow rate?
Probably not so much the flow rate but more of having an additive in the oil to allow them to run maybe more boost, maybe a lead additive to combat detonation at high revs something Merc were struggling with according to Toto a couple of seasons agoDoink said:

May be below detection limits as it's not used much (if at all) in the race. If you have different oils for qualifying and race then it's a bit more straightforward, I guess.
For me the political intrigue and off-track shenanigans of F1 are as interesting as the racing, if not more so.
The interview with Christian Horner by Sky just now was a case in point, with him talking about the technical directives on the oil tank, and referring to the "silver team" and "red team", and how they're in the business of pushing the rules and finding advantage (at least he wasn't being hypocritical given Red Bull's past).

I personally hate the shenanigans. The amount of systems on these modern F1 cars do not help matters.
On a different matter how fake is Mariah Carey. What a state.
These celebrities are on another planet.

Loved it, "at team whos grid spot we are coming up to", "a person who worked for the red team who now works for the silver team" ha ha love it love it love itThe interview with Christian Horner by Sky just now was a case in point, with him talking about the technical directives on the oil tank, and referring to the "silver team" and "red team", and how they're in the business of pushing the rules and finding advantage (at least he wasn't being hypocritical given Red Bull's past).

My spies have reliably informed me she's taking over Sauber.
The Sauber will be in Austrian GP with a new nose, rear end, ECU "brain" and the drivers will be fitted with heels Nothing will be original to the FIA rules. It will be called a fake.
At least the sound would be very loud but the drivers will complain that it is too demanding to drive.
