he has done that indeed.
A lot of people are under the illusion that an F1 driver's schedule basically is drive about on fridays + weekend and then it's time off...
The physical training schedule alone is quite intense. Traveling (even with a private jet) is time intensive, too. You'll be at the track on thursday morning already. Interviews, TV commitments, corporate stuff, family life (often in different countries/continents), that adds up quick.
Compare that to the average top of the line sim racer (the guys he's competing against) who in most cases has to walk to another room in his house/apartment and can log laps hour after hour, suddenly it's not a lot of time he spends on the virtual track.
I've seen some of the instagram footage of what they do to train themselves physically and you would think it was all weights, cardio etc but some of it is stuff that makes you go A lot of people are under the illusion that an F1 driver's schedule basically is drive about on fridays + weekend and then it's time off...

Eh?...Wait...what??
Examples
Steering wheels tied up so they are all but impossible to move, watch these guys wrestling them from a seated position.
Neck in a band with weight, turned one way, then they turn their head and move the weights. And it's silly weights too, the sort of things we would look at and be like
Nope
The things is, like Calisthenics, F1 drivers have functional phsyical fitness so they might not look like a traditional athlete - see sprinters or Javelin throwers etc - but they are equally as impressive.

LH and Ferrari has the potential for some fabulous radio transmissions, I cannot imagine how he’ll deal with a load of Italians
LH is the least multi-lingual driver on the grid. Could be fun

I have no idea if the other youngsters are bi or multi lingual.

One of Lando's parents is Dutch or from Belgium, so he's probably fluent in that language.

If Lewis really wanted the challenge he would turn up at Horners front door with £200m and Sergio’s P45. Best chance he has of getting number 8/9/10
If Max really wanted the challenge he would be doing anything except what he's actually doingif you're not the best driver in the best car, you roll the dice.
Of course Verstappen is going to stay at Red Bull with a patsy team-mate and rack up as many championships as he can. Every driver would if they could. I'm just pointing out the obvious double standard when Verstappen fans criticise other top F1 drivers along the lines of "If so-and-so really wanted a challenge..."

Well yes, just like LH did at Mercedes for many years. I don’t remember his supporters calling for him to go to a weaker package to prove himself I’m pleased he’s going, nothing to prove and who wouldn’t want Ferrari on their CV? At 40 there’s not much left anyway for him.

The assumption that Verstappen would tolerate Hamilton as a team-mate or that Hamilton or Red Bull would even entertain the idea of combining the two
I’ll give it three races before the new lineup at Ferrari are at each other’s throats I just cannot see how LH and his temperament will work there? Culturally it’s going to be a massive shock. carlo996 said:

Yes, he’s so daft. Winning back to back world championships and breaking records each year. He needs to employ someone from PH to help him, define a new strategy Hustle_ said:

You are going on the assumption that they are equals. If after a few races it seems one has the measure of the other then it isn't a problem for RB, if it is Lewis that is faster they are still going to get the championship even if Max strops off somewhere. carlo996 said:

It's amazing what can be achieved when the rules are ignored...
It’s ok, I’ve forgiven Mercedes for the tyre test etc
