Someone high up starting to get impatient for more success now they’re stumping up 100 million extra? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/43904342
Think we have an answer to Joe Saward's rhetorical question of a few weeks ago...
"what do you think would happen if an F1 technical director became rather "tired and emotional" (as Private Eye used to say) on a flight home from Australia (while in team travel gear), and was to cause trouble on the plane, including making rude remarks about his team principal - to the man himself. I guess such a thing would be a firing offence, wouldn't it?"

Blimey, one of Joe's cryptic, I'm smarter than you, ramblings has appeared to come true."what do you think would happen if an F1 technical director became rather "tired and emotional" (as Private Eye used to say) on a flight home from Australia (while in team travel gear), and was to cause trouble on the plane, including making rude remarks about his team principal - to the man himself. According to the BBC website Zak Brown now has direct responsibility for the F1 team.
I'll back Zak to crack on and sort out their problems.
Back, zak, crack? Sounds painful. I'll back Zak to crack on and sort out their problems.

Wouldn't surprise me,
I've been saying it for at least 18months now, how Boullier escapes criticism in the media is puzzling. Never understood why he got the job in the first place. To get rid of Tim Goss seems harsh: the guy has been there for a couple of decades in which time he will have had a big hand in some brilliant cars. He won't have suddenly turned into a useless engineer.
They have exceeded their 2017 points total already, and are half way to the 2016 one - so whilst the improvement has been underwhelming, it is still there in fairness.
I still think they are setting themselves up for a fall with their 'you'll see the real 2018 car in Spain' chest thumping mind you.....
