Blatant slam dunk of a decision (in isolation) for the stewards based on what Di Resta has just shown on the Sky Pad.

Doesn’t make the general consistency of track limit enforcement any easier to stomach though. Loads of drivers ‘gaining an advantage’ all race long.
Agreed on both parts

Looking to the positive, Max is fantastic for the future.
We were robbed of a podium of three different teams which is great for F1
Oh I agree. I normally think the stewards have it right, but in this case I think they missed the key point.

Ferrari bias again.
I would have had tremendous respect for Kimi if he had said "no Max won it fare and square". This particular Steward seems to have form as a jobsworth apparently.
That move by Max finished of a great race actually one of the better ones this season

Max cheated, ie took an unfair advantage, so deserves the 5 secs penalty. And had there been a solid wall or gravel trap there he would have endured a much greater loss.
and so would several other drivers .

What did Webber reply when the presenter said he was going to thrown a bucket of water over him?

Had to laugh at Perez's usual 'I'm faster than Ocon, make him let me past' whinge - gets passed by Sainz and then watches Sainz and Ocon drive off into the distance biggrin

Here on Dutch tv, in an official interview for the broadcaster, Max just called the steward ‘een mongool’ i.e. someone with Down syndrome.

He might be angry, he might be young and the Dutch tolerate bad language more than most but he had better be careful, the FIA might take exception to his language there.........

He didn't win the place fair and square though did he?

All there is to lament is the inconsistency of the enforcement of track limits, and stewards tendency to allow their judgment to be coloured by the significance of the position. This problem exists at all levels of motorsport.

It did appear as though Ocon was holding him up for the first couple of laps, but subsequent to that Perez didn't manage to back up his gob.
