I meant that Ferrari are getting on equal terms during qually. Here we see that they are on par with the Mercs. Yet normally in qually Merc have the edge, but not recently.

It’s practice. Quail starts in half an hour.

It's a bit more subtle than that. Look back at previous races. Merc and Ferrari on par during free practice and qually 1 and 2. Historically, then the other teams fall back from Merc but we've seen that Ferrari have been not only able to stay with Merc but outqualify. This has come at the same time as Ferrari's reliability problems. There is always, but always, a reason.

They're quite good visual aids actually - teaching quite complex engineering concept in terms people can relate to.

Really? I thought it was pretty good. In fact I’d have liked them to dig into more detail about the effects of moving liquids through holes of different sizes, but, then, I’m not a Sun reader.
