Lewis team robbed in Brazil redface
Yep...and happens every year. If they can’t guarantee safety they’ll lose the race at some point.
Frankly they should be told to sort it ASAP or no race next year, I'd also be wanting to see the security arrangements in place for 2018 before next years race gets the go ahead, it's totally unacceptable. Maybe now an FIA car was threatened the FIA will take some notice and start wagging some fingers.

You're too kind - I'd just tell Brazil to do one!

It's happened most years they go there - so why keep going there?

Because it’s a great track and often a good race?

Looks like things are really kicking off between Renault and Redbull/TR!

They couldn't be clearer in what they think's going on:

"We mustn't forget that they are fighting with Toro Rosso for a better position in the constructors' championship. As suggested by Mr Abiteboul the situation may not be a coincidence, but it is certainly not due to STR's car."

It's not like Red Bull have a history of falling out with Renault, or anything....

Be interesting to see if Honda get the same treatment.

According to DC, Ham downshifted a touch to much, seems it's not just Golf R drivers then.smile
You could hear from the in car audio the revs spiked more going into 5th than 7th and 6th and then the rear let go.

I am guessing RB will have some contract clause to allow them to get out in case of under performance, however I am guessing Honda will be wise after the slating that RB have given Renault & it could easily bite them in the back, as where would they get their engines from then?

Isn't the Honda engine deal only for toro rosso next year with red bull keeping the Renault engines

Yes, Red Bull are contracted to Renault for 2018.

The issue might resolve itself naturally. The race only has a couple more years to run on its current contract, and the local government who own the circuit are openly looking to sell the place, whether it goes to another circuit operator or to a housing developer. Argentina seems to be pushing to regain a race in Buenos Aires, which would keep an F1 race in South America.

Guaranteed lots of airtime for Mercedes though, with pole position battling with Vettel and world champion battling through the field.

Renault seem just about sick of the whole RB family.

Yes, mercedes got the drop on everyone with their engine and renault need to improve but I'm sick of whinging from red bull, renault must loath them.

Hope romain grosjean isnt watching the moto2, he'll have to report Miguel olivera to teacher for throwing his gloves into the crowd on the cool down lap.

Anyone know the weather forecast for race time?

ETA: followed the link on the first page and looks hot and sunny. Ah well. I like the mixed weather this one seems to throw up quite regularly.
