up live only, and intentionally made that way by Sky as well as pretty much everything other than sports on NowTV supports catch up.

You'll be stuck until Sky decides to change that, I can't see the contract between Sky (Uk) and FOM allow FOM to offer their own streaming in the Uk once FOM are ready to offer it.
I’m hoping that it will work via a vpn to the US when it launches... and that I would not need a US billing address...

I mean a full streaming service - pause, rewatch, download (for 28 days, etc). I have young kids...

NowTV is live only?
Yup live only, and intentionally made that way by Sky as well as pretty much everything other than sports on NowTV supports catch up.

You can pause/rewind NowTV with the right box: http://www.nowtv.com/tv-smart-box

Would be nice if possible, I'd go down the same route once I know it works.

Bit of a pain to leave it paused to simulate catch up for that evening though!

So, really, the question is would people be willing to ditch their provider to watch F1 on Sky? My answer is no.
Cheap NowTV box (got mine on Black Friday for £20) and a 24h Sports pass for the race? 21 races at £7/race is £147 annually. I was paying more than that for 3 months of SkyTV

Can you watch it on catch-up though, or do you have to be in the house for all those 21 Sundays?
