Interesting thing I've just noticed with the Halo fitted, there's no "windscreen" anymore, and from what I've understood, is that little bit of clear plastic does help quite a bit with wind buffering and rain/spray

I've just noticed the branding on the head rest! My god man is that two ladies sat back to back! How dare they! I demand at least one of them is changed to a man! #EqualRights #ManJobsMatter #RedundantModelsInb4 "Sauber halo is cheating, because Ferrari didn't think of it first"

Its something you just attach when needed to stop helmet lift, no doubt the halo has affected airflow to the top of the helmet so may not be needed, it will have the fasteners in the tub to allow fitment.Inb4 "Sauber halo is cheating, because Ferrari didn't think of it first"

Again, mentioning the Autosport podcast Gary Anderson seems quite impressed by the Sauber, a much more cohesive design than the Williams according to him.

If Gary A thinks that, that can only mean good things are coming Williams' way. Williams is looking the most radical car of the ones revealed so far to my eyes.
I watched the Mclaren teaser video and thought the colour was more red than orange? I did wonder if they were going back to red and white, the Marlboro scheme or an iteration of that at least?
Can't wait for the testing to start, loving the look of the Sauber though, my first model car was the Benetton Alfa Romeo 185T.

Interestingly the Autosport podcast about Red Bull this week was discussing the merits of them being a championship rival this year, Gary Anderson again thinks (interesting livery aside-don't those Aston Martin badges look terrific?) the car lacks anything remarkable in it's design.
their is hope however that them releasing the car early is a good sign that they're avoiding the problems they usually have of being late in the design process for the first half of the season. The fact that they were running the car with enough pace to risk damage on Monday shows they are properly ready for the start of the season.
Let's hope they don't get cut out of the development loop should the Renault deal go sour towards the end of the season
How do you mean? They seem to have had the best chassis last year, and lost out of engine power/reliability. So even though it didn't look remarkable it was effective. And that was with what seemed to be a slow start due to fixing the suspension changes late on. If the engine is sorted for Renault then should be up there for the wins I'd imagine. That may also depend if Mercedes has managed to sort out the "big" flaw they mentioned in terms of the design (rake of the car and how it changed when racing versus chassis length I think it seemed to be?).their is hope however that them releasing the car early is a good sign that they're avoiding the problems they usually have of being late in the design process for the first half of the season.
