Really, who've they lost? There was an interview with Zak Brown a couple of days ago where he said they had three new sponsors signed but not yet announced.
Santander, CNN, Johnnie Walker, Calsonic, Star Sports Network, Castrol, Michael Kors and (which seems a bit harsh) Great Britain and Northern IrelandAdmittedly, i don't know how many of them are main sponsors (more technical partners) and I haven't heard of half of them, but it looks like a pretty respectable group?
Of the newer ones:
CNBC - was previously a sauber sponsor, now McLaren.
Kimoa (surfwear/sunglasses etc) - new for 2018. Kimoa is owned by Fernando Alonso...
Airgain (wireless tech) - new for 2018.
For those who are vaguely interested in what all these companies are/do
Chandon, Champagne. Part of LVMH group (which owns Tag Heuer amongst other things)
NTT Communications, telecoms and IT. Japanese telecoms group (Nippon Telegraph and Telephones) which has branched out into IT as well.
Richard Mille, Watches. They have models that sell for £100K+.
Kimoa, Nando's T-shirt company.
Hilton, Hotels
Logitech, computer/mobile accessories.
Renault, Motors which will soon be complained loudly about.
Norton Rose Fulbright, Legal firm
Airgain, Wireless technology
Pirelli, Tyres which will soon be complained about
SAP, Software/ IT services to help run enterprises
CNBC, TV/News network
Stratasys, 3D printing company
Akebono, Japanese braking company
Enkei, Japanese wheels company
Mazak, (Yamazaki Mazak Corporation) - Japanese machine tool company
Kenwood, Japanese Audio company
Technogym, Italian exercise equipment company
Volvo, Swedish/Chinese truck company
Sparco, Italian racewear company
Sikkens, Part of AkzoNobel. Paint company
Lat_56, Ultra-high end luggage company
Calsonic, (Calsonic Kansei) - Japanese auto parts company
Interesting how many of these are Japanese, given the rift with Honda, although most predate the recent iteration of McLaren Honda.

I was hoping to be surprised by clever aero tricks on & around the halo, but there is no sign of that on the Haas. It really is just a big metal bar.
Let’s hope the big teams can innovate and come up with something a bit more interesting.
Credit where it is due - they've done a damn good job of hiding it.Let’s hope the big teams can innovate and come up with something a bit more interesting.

You lot are getting a bit excited considering it’s a render.

As if teams are going to give away their Halo aero solution before Barcelona. Let’s hope the big teams can innovate and come up with something a bit more interesting.

Meh. Very underwhelming, let's hope the other teams do a better job than this.
What would you have done, and how?

Mclaren: Dell main sponsor

Apologies in advance if I am misunderstanding you but they are not a main sponsor (if you mean title sponsor eg. "McLaren Dell") they are just a sponsor (actually, "official technology partner"). https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.motorsport.com/...
They came very close to doing a big sponsorship deal with GoDaddy - even so far as creating a complete package of 2018 car bodywork liveried up with the big GoDaddy logo, but the deal wasn't completed.
Busy period coming up - the real Renault engine is meeting the chasis for the first time this week, up till now they have been working with a test mule of the same dimensions, then everything has got to be shipped out to Spain.

They aren't going to do something left field for the sake of it and see if it works or not out on track.

People make critical comments and I’m curious to know from what position they do that.
My son is an aero designer for one of the leading teams and I have a little understanding of the effort that goes into these cars from that viewpoint.
Yet all that effort can be summarily dismissed on here with a one line comment. I think it’s fair to question that.
I remember at beginning of 2014 someone on here dismissed the Mercedes, ruling it out on the basis of a few first images. That was spot on, eh?
