Scary speeds being carried through the corner. Lewis looked ragged in places and was still 2 tenths behind Kimi,
Yeah, crazy speeds. Wouldn't bet against Merc finding any missing pace in Q3, would you?

15 minutes ago I would have agreed with you, but after seeing Lewis's lap I'm not sure.

Am I imagining it, or do the cars look faster?

Understeer at the start of the lap and big oversteer at the end... tyres not coming in evenly or is it overheating the rears...

Or just low overall grip due to green track

Hamilton did a 1:24.191 in Q1 last year and a 1:22.188 for pole in Q3 so they're quicker so far...

Even Alonso is beating Lewis' Q1 time from last year. Not sure if you'd call that progress but at least they're actually running in the top 10!

Midfield and the fight for last is going to be great this year regardless of what happens at the top

Williams are no where, again. WTF they need to get their s**t together.

Wont really see true pace till Q3 due to track being so green but the top 4 looking fairly close.

That’s if the track doesn’t go from green to blue

I expected them to go forward with Paddy Lowe having been in a senior role for over a year, not backwards.

the new font is harder to read which seems like a bit of a fail for something that is designed to be read. i can't read the times or driver names.

The car is going to be better than last year’s once they figure it out, the driver line up however is not an upgrade... I think the main problem is that the huge engine advantage from the Mercedes PU which has been flattering them so much since 2014 is gradually reducing year on year as the others begin to converge.
