Now you are being silly. There wouldn't be a single historic car racing if you didn't repair them.

There was a book written on the development of the Cosworth DFV. It was called "Such Sweet Thunder". I can see now why it was called that.
DFV's are rough as a badgers arse, they shake things to bits. In the early days suspension used to fall off DFV engined cars. laugh
