It funny because during the re-fueling era people complained that it made an F1 race into a series of 3 short sprints.
As much as I didn’t agree with refuelling, watching MSC on a banzai 3 stopper banging in quali laps one after another was impressive.

I have no idea; what is the outcome?

I feel sorry for Hartley, Marko is being ruthless as always.

They have the stats though for comparison. I haven't been impressed by Hartley as an armchair viewer.

It's become very obvious that they only signed him with the intent of using him for this year as the amount of times they've totally destroyed his race to give Gasly the advantage is beyond a joke. I've been very impressed with how long he kept his cool for with all the games going on.

I always got the feeling that his car seemed to be less reliable then Gasly's

Yes!, yes!, yes!.

Especially if they are going to stick with Pirellis. I think they could forget the “designed to fail” as well.

And, of course, there was Max starting from the back of the grid https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=auRXi7yKXrA

A bit like Ricciardo and his Red Bull... but obviously Max and Gasly are far superior drivers, riight?

Why would they do that?

Whatever, if he’s any good someone else’ll snap him up I’m sure.

That's a very good point. Hartley has kept his head despite a huge amount of bad luck, and possibly having several races sacrificed to flatter Gasly. He's a classy operator, already a world champion in another series and while I'm sad to see him go in such a way, I think he's well shot of F1 and certainly Red Bull. Still, I'd have liked to see him for another year, with less bad luck, and see what he could have done.

You don't mix up the strategies by forcing everyone to do the same number of pitstops.

I agree - the rule of unintended consequences.

Not officially yet, just the worst kept secret in the world that it will be announced.

Not yet announced. Which in itself is slightly perplexing.

Sorry to see that about Brendon, he made Gasly look ordinay in the last half of the year and Gasly showed he is a whiney git to boot, who couldn't give credit when it was due.

Red Bull's throw them away mantra strikes again.

Brendon will get a decent drive elsewhere, most likely somewhere he will be appreciated.
