I think he could surprise, I actually thought he was doing an ok job at Red Bull before they shafted him, hard to pick yourself up after something like that. But the year at Ferrari might have helped him reset and who knows from there....he was never particularly slow, just crashed into the wrong people at the wrong time smile

Doesn't surprise me. RB and integrity, they don't seem to be compatible, yet people find it ok. And the same people take the piss out of daddy Stroll for buying a team to potentially put his son in a seat still this season.

There is no way that will happen. He's more likely to spend the rest of the year in a Renault than a Toro Rosso.

Just heard on the BBC FP1 coverage a story from Hungary;

Lance Stroll broke a front wing and the available spare was a different spec and because of parc ferme rules he would've had to start at the back if the spare was fitted.

Lawrence Stroll expected Williams to take the front wing off Sirotkin's car and give it to Lance so that he could start in position which would've meant Sirotkin would've started last instead.

Lawrence apparently had a huge row with Paddy Lowe about this.

Paddy must've prevailed, as it was Stroll who started last with Sirotkin all the way up in 19th.

Hartley looks no different, what is it anyway; a mix of 2 drivers into 1?

Going by fp1 text feed today Horner is dropping snide remarks calling him our renault representative.

RB. Any rumours were just daft as the drivers names were submitted yesterday, IIRC. Plus the lack of seat fitting, etc. Next race, who knows? But I doubt it.

They might well try to promote Gasly early, but I'm certain you won't see Ricciardo driving a Toro Rosso. I'm sure he'd rather sit out the remaining races than put up with Red Bull's stupid games.
