Beat me to it!All is not well at Witney.
Thanks for the breaking news.
It’s subtle, but what I think is interesting is how some of these stories about McLaren aren’t breaking in the Motorsport press. The “govt investigation”, came through the Telegraph. This story on Ojjeh, the Independent.
If this is true, and further substantiated across other outlets, about Ojjeh, I wonder if this is more linked to his general health and maybe desire to enjoy other things. Articles say he’s resigned, but that doesn’t indicate any change of shareholding (yet), just relinquishing his EXCOMM role alongside the Sheikh.

You’re right...it just reverts to the Indy homepage. As I say above, it’s strange some of these stories are breaking in publications like the Telegraph/Indy. You could think about all this quite cynically... Doesn't say much though

Also GPBlog are just blurring lines. Boullier was just an employee in the F1 structure that took a bullet. Ojjeh owns a quarter of the whole wider thing. If the Ojjeh thing is true it’s not all part of the same “restructure”.

Interesting wording, he is still a director of McLaren Group Ltd.Quickly looking through their co house entries.. what a mess.

Quickly looking through their co house entries.. what a mess.
Quite common in companies with multiple divisions and entities. I work for a global company and we have about 200 entities from various acquisitions.Quickly looking through their co house entries.. what a mess.
There’s an obvious mismatch in reading what’s coming from the Companies House site.
McLaren Technology Group Limited (01967715), the holding company...if you view via Ojjeh’s records (alongside TAG etc) has him as resigned from back in 2013. But if you look up the record for 01967715 separately it shows Ojjeh very much active, alongside a slew of new appointees like Neale, Buddin etc.
So whilst he may have resigned from the subsidiaries (Racing and Applied), he still looks present on the holding company record.
This could just be a tidy up according to the McLaren press release, but I find it strange that the Independent ran the story, spiked it, now it’s back - almost as if if they think there’s something going on. Additionally why a tidy up now? Might be about reorganising shareholdings more acutely?
