I’ve been out of the loop... 20 extra horsepower from Ferrari battery??? And it’s legal??? That’s some genius solution they’ve found. Fingers crossed the other teams work that one out.

Spotted a rumour on twitter there

Rosberg was supposed to be doing the podium interviews but "a driver" objected. Rosberg removed, DC drafted in instead.

how does that work - I thought the battery pack or the motor had a maximum deployment kW rating?

Rosberg said 20%, if so it's a huge gain.

I don't like Ferrari but I love a right clever cheat, Toyota WRC turbo cheat is one of my most admired things.

yes that was a proper old school cheat as well.

I liked the story about the F1 team that had weighted their nose cones so much that they remained standing up outside the pit in very high wind storm..

...anyway I'm well off topic.

This is going to be a great first lap bounce

Afternoon all, looking forward to watching Hami and Dani Ric carving their way through the field.

Also looking forward to Tiger and Rory slicing through the field at the Open so will be swapping channels frequently.

Probably not but they're both good to watch and one can only hope, both for them and Lewis.

I wonder what is in the ferrari camera pod that needs dry ice to keep cool on the grid. unless it's a piece of misdirection by the team wink
