he's got good legal advice at least.

Seems like he got punished for not filling in the details rather than the crime of speeding. Gets a moderate fine and 6 points, but no ban.

hmm, is there something in this approach...
Getting a ban would have meant losing his race licence for the duration of the ban.

Guy always has been and will be a complete and spoilt, petulant utter moron, WTF are Red Bull doing sponsoring someone, oh publicity, bit like Liam Doran was still sponsored by Monster after being done for attacking marshals and other unprintable stuff at events all over the world.

They should be ashamed of themselves for sponsoring a guy who has done what he has in the past. But oh headlines, click click, a joke.

Yes we were all young once and foolish, but he has the air of a footballer about him, thankfully an air lacking on the vast majority of racing drivers.

This is Red Bull, the last 3 years should tell you everything about their moral compass…..

There does appear to be a disconnect, in the most egregious cases, between the penalty for not disclosing details and the penalty for the offence itself.

IMHO not disclosing details should be sent to the Crown Court, where a jury can decide, and the prosecution lawyer can ask questions like “Can you provide a list of people who were insured to drive that car on that day”?

(Aside from al of that, the M6 Toll could raise a load more money if they dropped the speed limit)

I've always treated the M6 Toll as close a limit free autobahn as the UK gets, and maybe wont so much anymore whistle

I don't know much about him, but he sounds as if he is the Alex Higgins of motorsport.

Alex had a mercurial talent and was a world champion, so he achieved as well as having some fairly serious mental health issues in a time when that sort of thing was not diagnosed.

This lad is just a spoilt, petulant brat who can drivfe a car reasonably well but maybe not good enough to win much

F1 teams have no morals. They would have given Peter Sutcliffe a seat if he was fast enough. Ticktum has proved time and again that he has no impulse control though and I’d have thought that any team principal worth their salt would look at him and see too big a potential reputational threat to put him in a car. It’s not as if there’s a global drought of drivers as fast as him, he’s not a Lewis Hamilton or Max Verstappen.

Jesus... He really is an unpleasant individual.

There's no wonder he's known as Dick Tantrum by some of the folks that work with him.

Don't see it. Ticktum shouldn't be in racing. I don't recall Russell ever doing anything even remotely close.

Sounds like a narcissist, then again so do most F1 drivers. However, i did find it was quite entertaining listening to his rant, was McEnroe-esque.
