Doing the Teesside 24hr with a team in 2 weeks but we need around 16kg of lead to cope with our variation in drivers. Teeside are charging £10 per kg!

Anyone know of somewhere else that sells 10cm circular weights with 10mm hole in it?

An extra complication is that most of team is flying over from Ireland or I would be tempted to cast my own.

Thanks

You might struggle to get 16kg on the kart. I'd go for 10kg and live with the 6kg over. The other option is to make a weighted seat insert out of an old kart seat. Much easier and quicker to change - buy the lead in sheets.

£10 for 2kg here.

Dive shop... there's a few in tees area, and to be honest if you ask nicely you could probably sell it back to them when you're done with it?

I had a big 14kg lead bolted to the back of the seat for my nephew to make the wright.

Your best bet is kkc ect for quick change in weight while driver swapping..you don't want anything bolted that will cause time
