Here’s a young max Verstappen taking Eau Rouge in reverse... (how the circuit was designed I’m told)..

Well he certainly tip-toed through there!!
Not quite Flat, 3 down shifts?!, and on a reverse track that would probably be the end of a DRS zone, instant madness!!!

Haha I know, been looking at the forecast all week, ah well normally work Leeds festival on bank holiday weekend so I'm used to standing round in a field getting soaked.

Just paying for the privilege this time round,

I'll be in Brussels this weekend but not going to the GP. Anyone know any bars that'll be showing the F1 near to the Grand Place area?

You’ll know all the tricks then;)

Have a great time (my fav GP) once the little ones get big enough I’ll make another trip!

Upload some pics if you get the time.

Looking forward to seeing if this years cars can beat the 919 evo tribute laptime.

Best f1 track to drive, visit and watch f1 on.

Really looking forward to SPA, and not only because of the long, long summer break. I genuinely don't know who will be faster here. It has the ingredients of a Mercedes track, but we've seen that Ferrari have really improved in fast corners this year. And with now supposedly more power, things might swing in their favour. I know it's not very likely, but this being a Kimi track maybe we'll finally see him fight for the win. I don't see Red Bull challenging for the win, but if it rains Verstappen could easily be up there. In fact, if it rains on race day, my money would be on him. On a dry track, I reckon Hamilton would still take it, but would be very close.

If you take a look from 7.24 to 7.28 you can see how slippy it is, then on the next lap at 10.29 if you push to hard and maybe oil on the track I thought.I moved my line down to the apex curb and stayed on. couple of broken ribs I think, not a good spot to come off.

My old man has written off two Caterham chassis at Spa, one at Rivage 2 and the second at Blanchimont.

My favourite track. Both for watching and driving.

Sad they got rid of the Bus Stop though. That was great fun in a Caterham.

Anybody else want to join me in a wild prediction? Kimi's going to win, finally. I mean it's got to happen at some point surely?

That'd be great, wouldn't it.

I believe he's in with a chance of his 100th podium this weekend.

Thanks Deesee.

Interesting tyre choice from McLaren.

Backing Mercedes if it rains all weekend. Otherwise, it's Ferrari's race to lose.

Kimi winning would be nice.

Quite a variance between the tyres for this race with the team, hopefully Mclaren go deep in to the race and back some points.

If the tech guys are right about the Ferrari mgu h to k they should run away with it, wet weather could be the only leveller.

I've driven Spa-Francorchamps on a track day in my Sagaris, so this race is a favourite of mine. It's mind-boggling just how fast the F1 cars go through the bends when you have driven it yourself in a fast road car and which looks like it's going at the speed of a mobility scooter in comparison.

Valtteri Bottas & Nico Hulkenberg will start the Belgian Grand Prix from the back of the grid due to Power Unit penalties.
