Force India are in danger of not starting the Grand Prix due to late agreement by the Indian banks to formally approve the sell to Stroll.

Now, this would be pretty sad if it happens frown . Furthermore, FI might loose all of their points and bonuses for next year.

Read Joe Saward. It looks like FI's new owners are trying to ditch the team and just buy the assets. They'd lose the points and all the prize money - but would also get out of about $200m in debts. As a new entry they'd pick up a few points to keep them in the prize money over the rest of this season.

Are new entries allowed mid-season? I'd be surprised if they were.

Wonder what the odds are of them beating Mclaren by the end of the year? hehe

Good pragmatic support by the FIA.

Given the other teams would have benefited, including Ferrari, it is at least hard to accuse Todt of bias... we have kept a team on the grid.

Bernie and Max would have let them fail.

Now to address the affordability.

I'll be in Brussels this weekend but not going to the GP. Anyone know any bars that'll be showing the F1 near to the Grand Place area?
Not in the Grand Place, but the Micheal Collins up Avenue Louise on the corner of Rue Balli will show be showing it, if not ask and they’ll stick it on, decent pub as well. Failing that O’Reillys will probably have it on...

Vandoorne versus Norris in FP1 will be interesting. It's almost a shootout for the race seat.

Looks like he has been pretty handy at Spa before.

Norris faster than Vandoorne and on a harder tyre at the moment.
