We used to get to the British GP before the gates opened. I was at Club for a British GP and the group I was with held our normal competition. The rules are quite clever.
You go round the group, each individual asking a question. If all but one gets the answer right - there were six of us so four right, one wrong - then the one who got it wrong is out. When there were just two left standing, the four utter failures were brought back in. They were not allowed to discuss amongst themselves, but only one had to be right. With two left, there had to be two failures on the trot before the winner was declared.
It could get heated.
The first question was what do the initials in March stand for. I mean, there were just four guys, according to my book. I didn't know what the A was for. I just sulked from then on. Stupid game. Who wants to be kind nerd anyway?
Getting the first one to drop out normally takes a round or two.
