...thoughts? too soon for him? can McLaren give him a car to match his talents? should he have spent a year at a smaller team first (and probably have a better car!)
He is at a small team first.

Well, a back marker team is a back marker team regardless of financial resources..........

I will never forgive Norris for trying to trick old Blanco out of his worldly possessions in Porridge.

I just can’t get that character out of my head every time I hear that name.

Back on topic, I wish him luck.

But Han got revenge by tricking Lando during a game of cards and winning the Millennium Falcon.

I hope he does well but two things to note.

Given his very wealthy background, I fear that the public's interest in him may be tainted - unfairly I hasten to add. If you're good, you deserve the plaudits regardless of anything else but the British public's affections for the likes of Mansell and Hamilton is rooted in their 'ordinary' backgrounds as their success is seen as something that is potentially achievable by many others; not something defined by wealth. How this pans out will be determined by how good he is and how he carries himself in the spotlight.... on which.....

I look at Verstappen and can't help but think just how much better he would be if he'd done another couple of years in junior formulae - iron out the petulance and refine the driving even further. I hope that ths same doesn't apply to Norris but the risk is there. 18!!! I wouldn't be surprised if he still has a bedtime!

Thanks to his wealthy family, Norris is often referred to as ‘the Lance Stroll who isn’t st’. smile

Lando currently competes in Formula 2 so he’ll be completely at home with the performance of the McLaren. OUCH!

So far Lando Norris seems to be a likeable lad, despite having a privileged upbringing, but hasn't had a chance to become a full F1 diva yet.

He's 'liked' a couple of my instagram photos.
