I love to see British drivers racing F1, and wish them well, of course. Bearing this in mind I worry for Albon. His team-mate is probably one of the quickest 2 drivers on the grid, so he's up against it this year. Being around half a second slower all the time means one thing to me: poor Alex won't be driving a Red Bull next year. Will he be in an Alpha Tauri for 2021? Or out on his ar5e?

I wonder if the gap between these teammates is greater then the gap between other team mates?? A small gap will always happen, a big gap will start asking questions

It's definitely a big gap so questions should be asked - but maybe not asked with regard to Albon alone.

They've basically built a car around max, who is pretty unique as a driver - and they've taken that concept to such an extreme now that even he loses it sometimes (alrhough bloody fast when he doesn't). How exactly is the new boy ever supposed to equal max in that situation? I'm pretty sure if they gave Lewis the 2021 Merc and said "here you go, we designed it for max" he'd be stuffed too.

So yea, questions need to be asked because currently RB are just about unbeatable as a number two WCC team but they're also no hopers at the number one spot so long as they can't develop/support two drivers at once.

That's really, properly interesting - thanks.

Definitely a couple of slight surprises in there..

Lovely stats, thanks. I know half a second is a lot in F1..

..but in everyday life its tiny. Its so hard to be under pressure for half a second
