Why? Serious question not just starting an argument!
They can afford to take new engines at the last two races and still finish 5th and 6th (as Red Bull/Ferrari have shown when starting at the back).
Or do you think it's packaging that can't be changed?
I think that it could push the title at leat 1 or 2 more races instead of having the title given this weekend. Makes things more interesting for all of us. Still, my predictions are always wrong.

So the vents in the Mercedes wheels were making a big difference?
Or is there another reason the Mercedes has struggled since these were sealed?
As pointed out in several places, after the water pump change the cars weren’t set up properly giving a 50kg cross weight. Vents are back open in mexico, just struggling with engine power/ aeroOr is there another reason the Mercedes has struggled since these were sealed?

Thank you
Sure they will have it sorted for qualifying.
Red Bull front row?
To a degree but higher power from the same fuel needs more air and the favourable high downforce setup that makes Red bull good at Monaco also really helps to offset the thin air here. Sure they will have it sorted for qualifying.
Red Bull front row?
Personally I expect the Red bull to continue to dominate, all car design is a compromise so being suited for the majority of races means accepting weakness elsewhere.
If RB have 2 DNFs (Which may happen) then whilst Seb may well win then, with them out of the picture, it would also need a DNF for Lewis. Thin odds but since I am at Sao Paulo in a fortnight, for this weekend come on the red car.
James Allison giving quite an interesting explanation as to the difficulties being faced at the high altitude, and Ted Kravitz, who asked the question and was interviewing him, seemed like he was trying to get him to shut up. Clearly Ted wanted a soundbite rather than an actual answer.
(Sky coverage btw)
Edit: James Allison was saying that the turbo has to work harder to force the same amount of air into the ICE, which generates more heat, whilst the radiators have less air to work with, so aren't able to cool as well as usual, so you have more heat and less cooling. I didn't think that was especially nerdy or difficult to understand.

The world would be a better place without Ted Kravitz on the TV.(Sky coverage btw)
