F 1.5 league table

For a split second I thought there was an entire category of racing I’d never heard of.

In reality it’s a bit depressing because it’s absolutely true.
Absolutely matched and close! The midfield battle is what we should all be watching.

Perhaps Pirelli could have gone a grade higher on the selections..

Wow!! Those tyres are shocking. Hope things aren't starting to go wrong for Lewis, now he's so close to sealing the title ??
Seb is only winning this with breakdowns.
3DNFs for Lewis and 3 Wins for Seb.

Someone needs to work out those odds. But it must be an insanely low chance.
Bookies are offering 500/1 on Seb WDC

& saw a stat for Lewis not to win WDC was something like 0.01%.

I mean it’s possible. I think I saw 5000-1 odds for Button to win the WDC before pre season testing with Brawn.
Improbable but not impossible for Seb, Hamilton will cruise round finish circa 5th job done.

1st corner could be chaos on Sunday, the Mercs/Ferraris are 3/4 tenths quicker down the straight

Now that is something I can agree with! Can't beat a qually where you really don't know what's going to be the outcome of Q3 can you?
Too right, some were unlucky, others came up short..

Now need to get my head around lap one turn 1/2 360kph to 80kph perhaps 4 abreast, can’t wait hehe

I was surprised he did not congratulate Daniel
He did, when he got out of the car he went over to Rikky.
Indeed he did but that won't stop people turning him into some self entitled spoilt brat because they want to. I'll cut him some slack for coming across petulant, I mean how many races each year have Red Bull really had the chance to win?

The pressure on him, from his massive touring fan base, the team, the management and more than likely his family and himself is bound to be huge.

I still don't agree with interviewing them as soon as they get out the car.

Everyone suggests F1 drivers should enjoy themselves and be happy go lucky millionaires, laughing each way to the bank in-between shagging supermodels but high pressure athleticism and sports just isn't like that.
There's a lot of hate on this thread and we ain't big max fans in this house but he was immediately over to congratulate danny after getting out the car which I thought was pretty decent/grown up of him given said ozzy had just denied him his probably one chance of setting a pretty significant record. Yeah there was some race driver excuses after that but same old, whatev.
He was over straight away to be fair, yep he’s pissed off but he was told Dani was much quicker in sector 3 and relied I’ve got it.

Blaming the car/engine while your team mate has stuck it on pole and your 1/2 on the grid was not to clever IMO.

Why?
Tyres for this were ordered 3/4 months ago, the cars have moved on in terms of load on the car with the high amounts of downforce carried there is a risk of failure.

This change and or standstill could result in massive graining/blistering and the “cliff” returning.

Ideally they would have liked to have brought harder compounds (they brought the three softest).

With the reminder of races all flyaways, I can see the teams asking to run different pressures in P1/P2.

So I guess Seb is wishing for the 2 RBs coming together at the first corner and picking up Lewis so he gets a DNF then Seb cruises to victory and we move on to the next race.Or is this in the F1/Liberty master plan?
