Why don't they use their own? Is it rented out full-time?
I think all the teams use the Toyota tunnel. Its the only one that's wide enough. Pre 2009 the cars had an in-wash aero concept so didn't require the extra width in the tunnel.
Marc Priestley mentioned this in one of his Q&A videos. Even with the new regs to reduce the outwash teams are still using the old Toyota facility due to the still considerable.

Can someone go round and check on Mr Yogi, please? He may have keeled over mid-sentence.

Regarding Claire Williams, out of a score of 10, I would give her one hehe

Pity it only goes up to 10, as I'd only ever give her a P45.

I'm not so sure if PH is going to be of much use.

I'm sure he'll know how to frustrate Frank and Claire less than other incoming consultants might do. Let's not forget that he basically retired a decade ago though.

Still, interesting development and I'm sure it'll give a well needed moral boost at least.

I see Claire gave another cringy interview during FP1. I think she said at one point their target for this season was 9th in constructors!?

Shareholder and legend, has every right to criticise management ‘employees’.

Maybe he's just going in to confirm what's wrong and give a clear appraisal to the family. He's about the only person left they would listen to rather than fire.

Would be interesting to see who asked him to come back - Frank or Claire. Maybe even Franks losing confidence in his daughters abilities?

Potentially it was Patrick who asked for himself to be put back in for a bit.

Re the 10yrs ago... I sense you’re thinking what I’m thinking... good bloke, hard and doesn’t suffer fools blah blah but... how relevant is Patrick today when he’s been away for so long...? The need today’s thinking, to modernise. They’re a long way from the cutting edge.

People are still people. Getting the best out of a technical team is a skill that may persist.

BBC article says he's to look into where Williams have gone wrong to end up where they now find themselves.

That's the hope! If he's good at directing effort and unity, then that's a skill for life. And it is potentially very useful that he will have the ability to stand up to Frank more than anyone else.

Sod all chance of fixing the car this season imo, but fixing the team would be a very good start.

So.. Kubica...

A second off again and this time no damage to blame. Make of that what you will.

If he's adrift in quali tomorrow then it's probably time to stop giving him the benefit of the doubt and accept the fact that, actually, you do need 2 strong arms to race in F1.
