Why don't they use their own? Is it rented out full-time?
I think all the teams use the Toyota tunnel. Its the only one that's wide enough. Pre 2009 the cars had an in-wash aero concept so didn't require the extra width in the tunnel. I'm not so sure if PH is going to be of much use.
I'm sure he'll know how to frustrate Frank and Claire less than other incoming consultants might do. Let's not forget that he basically retired a decade ago though.
Still, interesting development and I'm sure it'll give a well needed moral boost at least.
I see Claire gave another cringy interview during FP1. I think she said at one point their target for this season was 9th in constructors!?

Re the 10yrs ago... I sense you’re thinking what I’m thinking... good bloke, hard and doesn’t suffer fools blah blah but... how relevant is Patrick today when he’s been away for so long...? The need today’s thinking, to modernise. They’re a long way from the cutting edge.I'm sure he'll know how to frustrate Frank and Claire less than other incoming consultants might do. People are still people. Getting the best out of a technical team is a skill that may persist.skwdenyer said:
