"Taking centre stage and to a certain extent stealing the show is the Haas team principal, Guenther Steiner. The Italian is captivating. A man who is polite, calm and considered in conversation behind the scenes has an impressively acerbic wit and likes to eff and jeff with an alacrity that is glorious.
His driver, Romain Grosjean, is often on the receiving end, with Steiner exclaiming during a race: “Just tell him to focus on driving and not fking whinge. fking hell”. Later at a team dinner, Steiner laughingly refers to an out-of-favour Grosjean’s absence. “Romain is not here,” he says. “Maybe he is not here because he doesn’t have any points. Or I didn’t invite him because he doesn’t deserve any food”."

is it dropping the whole series at once?
Well... I'm not sure. The guys reviewing each episode are only on ep4 so far, so maybe one a week?I'd be hapy with one a week but I am also keen to see ep3 and understand maybe a bit more of what's gone on at williams in the run up to this seasons mess!
Ep 2,
McLaren pit guessing if Roman will make turn 1 in Spain.....
Cuts back
McLaren pit guy, “I was right” (almost)!
Carlos’s radio guy getting a strip torn off him for racing Ericsson (after pitting on a one stop, Ericsson yet to pit).
3 x nice calls back off, “your racing what’s behind you”.
They go side by side in turn 1.
“Stop racing Ericsson if you don’t F***ing tell him, I will”.
We need this team radio in the red button FOM!
Great stuff so far..

Interesting to watch Gunther Steiner's approach to running Haas and how openly critical he is at times. Nice to see F1 with the corporate filters removed, really interesting.
Claire hiding the tears at monaco, while sitting with Lawrence Stroll.
Horner in full smarm, win or lose, and how different is his body language with DR compare to Max V (pre announcement).
Cyril, hmm he's one not to be crossed eh!
Zak, walking around in his own bubble.
Up to episode 8 already!
Episode 3 (Williams) no real surprises there, but interesting to see how those guys cope with perpetual failure.. By laughing about it a lot it seems..
Episode 4 (RB/Renault) By far the best episode so far. The Cyril teasing Horner (to his face!) about him having no driver and no engine - having just stolen DR. I knew they liked to wind each other up but I didn't expect to see that level of up close smarm haha
What a spectacular series. Far better than I thought, and it really is a worthwhile different perspective on the sport. It's essentially, a credible soap opera, I hope this becomes a regular season by season series.
