Wow Mercedes really we’re keeping their cards close to their chest!

I’m disappointed by Ferrari being so far back! My last hope is that their race pace is superior with a car that visibly looks easier to drive.

Norris 8th ahead of Raikkonen and Perez - that is impressive in the Mclaren.

Looks like Red Bull have pretty much caught Ferrari too.

I know Sunday is important but a second faster than the rest isn't great going forward from a viewing perspective. however poor last year didn't equal victory.

Big gap between 1st & 2nd row. No more sandbagging.

Not really a shock Mercedes are quick in qualifying, or indeed quick at this track. Let's get the first few races out the way and see where we're at.

Anyone worrying that it might be a boring season just remember, this time last year there was a sizeable gap between Mercedes and Ferrari too, this is just race 1!

So really it looks like nothing has changed then, Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull nipping at their heels. Hopefully it should be a good race tomorrow.
