Hmmm, Kmag to Ferrari it may seem, may be the story of the next few weeks..
Great fit IMO..
Any source for this, or just a hunch? Great fit IMO..
This would be great IMO.
I'd be sorry to see Vettel go, but his form over the last year or so has been pretty poor.
More silly season rumours and analysis, some already covered in this thread:

Apparently there are leaked emails and documents. Danny Ric to Ferrari replacing Vettel. https://drivetribe.com/p/qualified-the-silliest-ru...

I can see that as a very strong possibility and I do think that Vettel will retire at the end of the season. Poor old a Vettel if that comes about; DR comes in to "his team" and wipes the floor with him so he leaves for Ferrari, he can't make it work there so retires and is replaced by the very man who helped push him there in the first place.

Much as though I'd like to see DR in a ferrari, I would rather see him winning in a Renault. Would love to see them winning championships.Poor old a Vettel if that comes about; DR comes in to "his team" and wipes the floor with him so he leaves for Ferrari, he can't make it work there so retires and is replaced by the very man who helped push him there in the first place.

Lots of ifs and maybes in that article, a bit like this thread Makes sense to have a contingency plan and succession... could just be Ferrari exploring who is tied in for how long, and how much it would cost to buy them out.

One never knows though.
Danny Ric to Ferrari for 2020, then Hamilton there for the new rules in 2021. Ferrari will be going for it big time to be the ones who take the advantage from the new rules and Mercedes may even be pondering a withdrawal from F1 by then.
Zetsche has retired as CEO of Daimler, meaning the Board may take a different direction from now on. Wolff is being mooted now in other other roles away from the F1 team, and he's not jumping over himself to deny interest. Mercedes themselves are entering FE, which will take effort and budget. The F1 team as-is has achieved all it can over a sustained period. People eventually want a new challenge. Hamilton will want to prove he can win away from the dominant team and with a competitive teammate.
It all stacks up.

I'd read somewhere that Benedikt Schell, the new CEO of Daimler, is not so keen on F1. Looks like Williams to run a Renault engine from next year (not the 90’s v10)...
Looks like Merc want Williams to run the Merc gearbox as per Racing •. Williams not happy about that..
