Where does the bearded tramp fit into all this these days? It seems he bhes about things on Twitter a lot, but doesn’t actually seem involved anymore.

He doesn’t it seems. The only active company he is involved with is Wolf Jerky Ltd according to Companies House.

When's the book those two journalists were writing coming out? Last I heard is they keep having to delay publication as the st show keeps rolling on...

Quick fact check says next week as it happens!

Was that just a 'taster / sample' offer then? - looking at the fridges behind I thought it might have finally hit the shelves.
It's hit a few shelves, I saw a post on twitter this weekend from someone who'd managed to buy a can in an actual petrol station!

Alanis King has posted on her twitter today saying the Amazon pre-order system has broken on the book for some reason. It's gone from showing no price at all to the wrong price that's on there now.

Do a bit more research guys, the BSB thing has been very well explained elsewhere,

The basics of it are that the team ARE the distributors and they have nothing really to do with beardy who now seems ostracized from the whole thing, they still run the livery and are odds on to win the title

I think you meant "exorcized"? But "ostracized" is good too...

The BSB thing raises a lot more questions than it answers. If OMG Rich Energy Racing (or whatever) "are the distributors", then why do the cans say "Rich Distribution Ltd." - owned by the guy who runs the BTC touring car team...?

Find an older can and it will likely say OMG Rich Energy etc on it. My take on the situation is that Beardy just owns the 'IP' of the Rich Energy brand. He grants a license to a punter to take on distribution and then someone (I assume the distributor, as likely billy doesn't have any cash) orders a batch of white label cans from the fizzy piss manufacturer in Austria and the distributor tries to sell them to make a profit to take as sponsorship for their racing exploits. At some point Billy falls out with the current distributor and then makes a new deal with another racing entrepreneur to distribute the next batch. Rinse and repeat.

Meanwhile Beardy gets to lord it around the paddocks like he owns the place, probably being entertained at the team/distributors cost, because they're so grateful to him for letting them distribute is piss poor white label product.

It also seems BTC Racing are the distributors as well, possibly more so than the BSB team because the address on the can ties back to a company that is run by the same director as BTC Racing

That is an interesting theory, and probably the closest to any kind of logical theory as to how it all works.

But, Rich Energy was established in 2010 according the cans, but beardy only appeared in 2015.

Well, how was it? Or are you keeping the can unopened in the hope that it will gain value as a collector’s item?

Oh yeah, I forgot that detail. Now, I am buy no means a connoisseur of those type of drink by any means. I have had a few Red Bull’s if I need a wake up call occasionally, but that is the only one have tried. Honestly, I wouldn’t be able to tell them apart.

Except the product barely exists in any meaningful sense so what's being "distributed" and who/where is the money coming from?

So you think the product is just a front for a bit of laundry?

I didn't say anything of the sort but such speculation seems more cohesive than any of the word salad offered as supposed proper attempts to explain it .

I bought a few of the original cans just for fun and still have two left somewhere.

Not a taste I'm keen to try again, sort of flat red bull with lots of lemon in it. Not disgusting but not really anything special

So not a 'premium' taste then? I'm so disappointed.
