No, but to be fair Gunther is prone to being non PC so it was marginal!

Both Kevin and Romain were still wearing Rich Energy branding on the back of their jackets today when I saw them 'playing cricket' on the Sky F1 show

WTF is going on at RE?
Latest tweet:
That has GOT to be a parody account. If is isn't, and it's the real deal, then I think that William Storey has some mental health issues.
It does come across as a someone in the midst of a mental breakdown.
If it’s a Twitter account hack, shouldn’t Storey be making a joint statement with the shareholders, distancing themselves from this?

The word on the street is that this whole Haas dropping situation happened because RE found another American team they want to sponsor, it's a brand new team that is due to launch soon. They're called USF1.

I still can't work out why the old thread had to be closed and a new one had to be started.
As things have unfolded it seems the original thread title is more apt than the current one.

I held of saying it earlier today - but this latest tweet does have all the hallmarks.

I'm not sure how I feel now. It was good fun mocking a maniac and near-conman. It's a little different if the chump is now having a nuclear brain fart meltdown moment.

I wonder if he has perhaps pushed his dealings too far this time and has left himself personally financially exposed? HAAS's (Gene) lawyers are bound to be considering each fallout scenario of this and applying pressure on beardie.

Beware mocking now. This storey could have a sad ending. More so than we expect - probably not, but good to be mindful if there is reason to suspect someone is flipping out.

If it didn't seem to be a case of karma catching up with a crook I'd be more inclined to agree. Today's tweets are hardly new for RE, look at the bks sprouted about Whyte, Red Bull, Chris Harris etc. It's just taking the bullst to a new level now he's being fked off.

It's not an RE tweet it's a beardie tweet. It's fairly obvious he is in meltdown and is expressing via the official RE twitter account.

It's the defensive and desperate nature that worries me. Yes, it's the fall he deserves. I'm just saying he shows all the signs of a guy that was stupid enough not to expect that fall and might not be able to cope with it without going fully unhinged and then god knows what the fool will do.

If it were a bloke losing his st in the pub car park we would all leave him alone and let him quietly shuffle off. I can't help but think that having placed himself fully in the media, that isn't going to happen. But he probably does need to be left alone - this is the sort of 'interesting' story that leads to a depressing end if it's pursued to much. I'm sure it will be pursued, I'm just saying be careful how much you rejoice in that..

I remember when this joker started showing his face in the F1 paddock, courting Williams. Everyone on here was saying “look at this fool, he looks like something out of castaway / Z.Z.Top” and I was leaping to his defence, telling PHers not to judge a book by its cover etc etc...

Turns out this book is even more laughable than it first appeared...

There's no difference between beardie and TE's tweets, it's been him all along just being a sthouse. He hasn't suddenly changed the password.

Given the apparent fallout and comments from his backers - I bet he has changed the password. I think he's in "If I can't have it I'll fk it for the rest of you" mode.

This is best summed up as "bad loser" I think. Just a particularly eccentric and stability-issues bad loser.

Plot twist, it's the backers who have control of the account and he is in fact locked out.

They get to confirm a lot of peoples thoughts by making him look like a mad man, and seize control of the business at the same time...

Stranger things have happened.

I think its very gracious of you to think of it like that, 99% sure he is a professional scammer, a chancer, and your good thoughts are wasted on a first rate idiot who had some fun with his scam and ends up no less better off.

If he turns up in the paddock at Silverstone he deserves a 'special reception' - maybe one of the truckies could arrange a short trip for him out the paddock into the boondocks (a word from yester-year!)
