As in David Sullivan current chairman of West Ham also?
I'm still of a mind that it was Sullivan's initial investment that was the stone to gather more moss. He would have plenty of places to pass money through to keep the tax bill low and will have plenty of equally well-healed associates who would do the same.

This does make me wonder if Karren Brady is also an investor on the quiet? Given the state of things at West Ham this last few seasons it would explain the Rich Energy st show completely with these 2 involved

Could be. Maybe even David Gold, as well as IoM and Bermuda connections. These are still shrewd business men and women and they've often made money the hard way and aren't going to let a mere governmental department take it off them.

Don't forget, there's still at least this one company that's not yet pinned down:

https://opencorporates.com/companies/im/131791C

And at the same address:

https://opencorporates.com/companies/im/131401C

Which says:

"Our diverse client base includes UK, Isle of Man and international high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, corporates, family offices and fiduciaries"

http://conexus.im/

https://isleofman.com/News/details/84349/new-tax-p...

So many wheels within wheels and money many of us can't even dream about. Willy's wasteful wonga giveaway in the Rich Energy/Hass debacle is a drop in the ocean for some.

Mr Storey's boxing promotion seems to be struggling too. The London event's been canned.

I’d rather be hit by Grosjean than that guy tbh yikes

Its sad to see once Storeys web of lies untangles seeing people are genuinely affected by it.

I wouldn't!!! That guy is capable of hitting anything and everything... remember he nearly took Alonso's head clean off!

^ excellent user name for that phrase.

Assuming you wanted a translation? Dude was sitting in the corner somewhere then got a phone call from someone associated with Rich Energy saying that due to one thing and another and the thread of litigation from various parties they now can't fund the fight they were sponsoring. Dude is now sad due to them not being able to write out the promised cheques to cover this boxing event and thinks they are liars.

rofl

I guess it's "home" vs "away" corners. Don't know enough about boxing to know if that's the way it works...
