2021 model in the Sauber Wind Tunnel
Discussion
The car certainly looks better than the current ones although still having wings on, doesn't quite meet with my approval.
What sort of rules have been framed to get rid of the bargeboards, turning vanes and the other aero excrescences which are responsible for the plug-ugliness of recent cars?

Agreed, but...Odds on one team turning up without wings as they figure out the floor...?

I expect they will be a very stiff ride (ooerr missus) as they will need to maintain the ride height precisely to optimise the venturi under the car, and the low profile tyres will have very little spring/rebound in the sidewall.
It will be a very uncomfortable drive on street circuits like baku & singapore.

Of course I forgot to add that the cars will always look like s**t while they've got those toilet seats stuck on the top
That goes without saying although they are beginning to look more integral to the design.Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
