They took it straight back to the pitlane before they restarted the session.
Only two hours to get it fixed...Do we think they may just put a new engine into the pool and just start from the back giving them enough time to get things rebuilt properly?

The car was handed back almost straight away..

Albon has Gasly's penalties to take. Gasly will be pleased.

But there are a number of drivers taking penalties. A few will be at the back too.

I would expect Hamilton to be fine for qualifying unless they find something serious.

Really? It seemed pretty much like he just ran too high on the kerb. As Herbert said, when you do that there, the result is pretty much inevitable.

Albon wasn't doing any fast qualifying practice laps, starting at the back with new engine penalties Albon's been doing just race setup runs with fuel this morning.

So what are they going to do before qualifying to mess it up?

If not Vettel or LeClerc for Pole? LeClerc looks like he has a bit in hand but he does seem to make mistakes.

I think both Ferrari and Mercedes are really pushing as they're so closely matched here. Mistakes get made, I get the feeling more may come yet..

As for Ferrari lock out, maybe. Although normally Mercedes do come back with the bigger improvement in pace for quali.

Well apart from Hulkenberg. That was some performance by Ricciardo even if it is just final practice.
