To pass the time on Saturday, Grosjean has bought a model kit Tyrrell P34 to build https://twitter.com/wbuxtonofficial/status/1182561...
I wouldn't be surprised if his long suffering mechanics bought it for him so that once he's finished, they can smash it into a wall and he can get a feel for what their weekend's normally like as he's forced to rebuild it again before being allowed to go to bed You're all assuming he doesn't miss the race having glued his fingers together!

Yep, it's the juggling after a bottle of red that gets me every time! And frankly if I've cracked the first beer at 6am and had very little sleep, no chance..
As a shortcut this Sunday I'm actually thinking cote de boeuf, just a quick flash in the frying pan and stick it in the oven for a short while. Then shovel chips (shout out to M&S triple cooked oven ships) and onion rings etc in the oven as it rests. Lazy but still the food of gods
I've made myself hungry typing this.

You can make bernaise sauce while it rests as well. Quite simple and delicious (10 mins). You can almost hear your arteries hardening.

Thanks to you two I had to go out at lunch and by steaks to have for dinner, I hope you're both proud of yourselves!
You're welcome! There isn't much else to discuss here for the next 36 hours other than dinner and what the weather is doing in Japan - might as well make sure we're all suitably fed and watered.TheDeuce said:

Ha haThe other alternative is a trio of sauces... green peppercorn, bernaise and blue cheese (separate bowls). More hassle though. Nice french bread to soak up all the juices.
Home made bernaise is nice the next day on toast or as the butter in a roast beef and mustard sandwich.
Salsa verde is nice with a fatty steak as it cuts through the fattiness.
