If Senna hadn’t lost just life, MS wouldn’t have had any WDCs.
So many ifs and buts.
Are you sure about that ? So many ifs and buts.
Schumacher was pushing Senna in the Williams to the max
It went on to be the benchmark car for next few years.
MS only just beat journeyman Hill twice before he and Villeneuve won two WDC.
Senna would have bagged the 4.
Still ifs and buts, but a very likely scenario.

What year did that magazine come out? I'd not be at all surprised if he's updated his views since then.sparta6 said:

Before Hamilton's first F1 season. Just because Hamilton doesn't often get his elbows out doesn't automatically make him a greater driver. Achievements in adverse conditions, against fierce rival competition and often in a sub-par car are the hallmarks of Schumacher.
Mike Tyson played rough and ready, but that doesn't mean Anthony Joshua is a better boxer.

You as well forget that Schumacher never had to fight a world champion or even a double world champion as a team mate with equal opportunity.
The only 2 good drivers Schumacher had to fight in his career for a title were Hakkinen and Alonso... And he lost 4 times in total. Shows that as soon as competition was strong, he failed.

There was no other driver of equal talent available in '96.You as well forget that Schumacher never had to fight a world champion or even a double world champion as a team mate with equal opportunity.

Mika was a McLaren man.
The Ferrari was not a title contender until 2000, but some incredible performances prior to that.
Villeneuve in the dominant Williams was no slouch.
McLaren and Mika were mighty.
FIA switched tyre regs to suit Alonso's Renault as they were bored with Schumacher's dominance.
Quite right too !

15 years ago. Hamilton was just warming up to walk the Formula Three EuroSeries with nearly double the points of his next nearest competitor. 37chevy said:

That backfired quite spectacularly on Bo_apex... I'm sure he'll pretend it didn't happen.

And it's quite possible not everyone reads the Daily Mail

Before Hamilton's first F1 season. F1 is all about luck, politics and nepotism.
Would anyone have imagined Alonso "only" being a 2 x WDC when he retired from F1? Would anyone have imagined Kubica looking like an absolute bum against George Russell? Or Hamilton suddenly becoming "the best ever" after he and Button were team mates?

Bo was trying to troll people suggesting Hamilton’s ex colleague and friend thought more of Schumacher than Hamilton by producing a 14 year old article and passing it off as accurate and current.
I don’t read the daily mail but a quick google search debunked his claims.

I'd expected him to have more titles until he came up against Hamilton. Even after that, he made some poor/unlucky choices and I think 2 WDC's is fewer than he deserves.Schermerhorn said:

Sadly his physical limitations must play a part in this.Schermerhorn said:

The Hamilton of recent times is clearly better than the McLaren era one, but even back then he was plainly better than Button most of the time. He had a relatively bad 2011, but the 2/1 head to head with Jenson seems reasonably representative. Hamilton's natural talent has never been in doubt in the motorsport community. As a fan from his karting days, what's satisfying to me is the way he's mastered modern F1 and the art of winning titles. He really is looking seriously GOATY these days.
